Don't ever settle on your level

I was on a site earily today where you can submit art and then people will judge them. So I posted up a new design when I got this comment:

SCORE 5 DAY!!!! :o) In CELEBRATION of ALL the artists who actually make effort to create original and engaging images and submit to Threadless. For that act solely EVERYBODY gets a SCORE 5 from me today. Subs I scored earlier all get bumped to 5. GREAT WORK community! :o)

I thought is was a nice jesture and all but quite frankly it really bugs me when people do stuff like this. I want my art to be judged as harshly as possible. If it sucks tell me it sucks! If it rocks tell me it rocks! But I never would want anyone to give me a pity score.

So what do you guys think? If someone said they faved a piece of your art because they were faving every art piece they looked at, would you be offended?
